Thank you for giving coffee a second life with Moksha.
Your pen is made from upcycled coffee grounds, handcrafted with care and designed to give everyday materials a new purpose. With a little attention, you can keep it looking its best for longer.
How to care for your Moksha Pen
Follow these simple steps to keep your pen looking its best.
-
1
Keep it dry
Avoid water and prolonged exposure to moisture. Store your pen in a dry place and use its velvet pouch when you're not writing.
-
2
Restore its natural shine
Has your pen's colour become dull or lost some of its shine? Apply a small amount of vegetable oil to a soft cloth and gently rub the surface. Wipe away any excess oil.
-
3
Handle with care
Avoid dropping your pen, exposing it to extreme temperatures, or leaving it in direct sunlight for extended periods. As it is made from a coffee-based material, gentle handling helps preserve its appearance.
When the ink dries out
Your Moksha pen is not refillable, but its story doesn't have to end here.
-
1
Dissolve
Place the pen in hot water to soften and dissolve the coffee-based body.
-
2
Separate
Remove the ink refill once it can be separated.
-
3
Dispose
Dispose of the ink refill separately.
-
4
Compost
Compost the remaining coffee-based material, provided your local composting system accepts it.
